DR. AKABUIKE LEADS COOUTH MANAGEMENT ON CONDOLENCE VISIT TO COMMISSIONER FOR HEALTH The management team of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, led by the Chief Medical Director, Hon. Dr. Joe Akabuike, on Thursday, 13th February 2026, paid a condolence visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike, at his residence in Akwaeze. The visit followed the burial of the Commissioner’s 77-year-old father. The delegation expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with Dr. Obidike and his family during this period of mourning. In his remarks, Dr. Akabuike conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the entire management and staff of the institution, assuring the Commissioner that the hospital community stands firmly with him in this moment of grief. He prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed patriarch.
