JOYFUL UNION: CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR’S DAUGHTER WEDS IN AWKA The daughter of the Chief Medical Director of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Hon. Dr. Joe Akabuike, married the son of the MD/CEO of Radopin Supermarkets on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in a ceremony attended by some of the state’s most prominent figures. Dr. Chioma Cynthia Akabuike exchanged vows with Mr. Chukwuebuka Raphael Azolo during a pontifical high mass led by Most Rev. Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor, Bishop of the Awka Catholic Diocese. The event drew an array of dignitaries, including the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, and traditional ruler of Nanka, HRH Igwe Godwin Ogochukwu Ezeilo. The grand reception at the International Convention Centre was a colorful affair. Hon. Arc. Okey Ezeobi, MD/CEO of the Anambra State Bureau of Public Procurement, served as the Chairman of the Occasion, urging the newlyweds to prioritize love, patience, and understanding over momentary glamour. Among the many eminent personalities present were the wedding sponsor, Chief Pastor Ebere Peter Nwosu(Ezeudo Nanka), MD Green life Pharmaceuticals and CEO of Clinic Diagnostics, as well as former Member of the Federal House of Representatives Hon.
