Dr. Akabuike Participates in Tertiary Education Stakeholders’ Summit for Soludo. The Chief Medical Director of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Amaku, Awka, Hon. Dr. Joe Akabuike, participated in the Tertiary Education Stakeholders’ Summit for Soludo, held on Tuesday, October 8, 2025, at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Center, Awka. The summit, themed "Education and Sustainable Development in Nigeria: Why Anambra State Must Remain Focused," brought together key players in the educational sector to deliberate on sustaining the progress made under Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR. Dr. Akabuike, who served as a co-convener of the event, was represented by the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) of COOUTH, Dr. Nnaemeka Umedum. Also present were members of the hospital staff and nursing students currently on clinical posting. Their participation underscored the hospital community’s recognition of the critical role of education in advancing healthcare and societal development, as well as their appreciation for the governor’s commitment to transforming the education sector. Dr. Akabuike stated that the 'Solution Agenda' must continue to sustain quality education, strengthen the healthcare system, and ensure the overall socio-economic development of the state.
